Nakladatelství Fraus, a Czech publisher of educational media, joined the Klett Group in the middle of February. Based in Pilsen in the Czech Republic, Nakladatelství Fraus is a provider of teaching media for primary and secondary schools.
Philipp Haußmann, spokesperson of the Klett Group management board, underlined the significance of the acquisition: "We are delighted that the education company Nakladatelství Fraus is part of our education group. With Nakladatelství Fraus, the Klett Group will be able to grow and strengthen its position and presence in eastern Europe, a key market for our educational media."
Founded in 1991, Nakladatelství Fraus is a family business that produces teaching media for primary and secondary schools and is a multiple winner in the Best European Learning Materials Awards (BELMA).
