The new Klett Schulmedien (KSM) division joins the existing divisions, Klett Lernen und Information, Klett Erwachsenen- und Weiterbildung, and Klett Kita & Schule.
KSM division includes a number of leading Klett educational media companies, such as Ernst Klett Verlag, whose products are aimed at primary and secondary schools as well as vocational schools. The restructuring is intended to strengthen cooperation between the different publishing companies in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Finland.
Dr Maren Saiko, a recognised expert in educational media and, until autumn 2024, managing director of C.C. Buchner Verlag, joined KSM on 1 January 2025. She joins chairman David Klett and Wolfgang Schulz on the senior management team of the new division.
CEO Philipp Haußmann: “As much as we regret Tilo Knoche’s decision, we understand it after his many years of commitment to the Klett Group. We would like to thank him for his exceptional contribution to the Group and wish him all the best for the future.”
